Snoopy, Charlie Brown and the Peanuts gang are some of the most beloved comic strip characters in recent history. If you are a big fan who wants to own a piece of Peanuts history, the luxury home in 3699 Montecito Avenue in Santa Rosa, CA should be of interest to you. This is where Peanuts creator Charles Schulz lived in the 1970’s and is therefore, a luxury real estate property that has an enviable history.

The four bedroom luxury home has been on the market for $2.275 million since November 2009. A two- acre lot adjacent to the home is also being marketed separately for $600,000.
The luxury California mansion has seen many renovations through Schulz and its second owner. However, some details from when Schulz lived there were retained. One of these is the chapel where the famed cartoonist married his second wife Jeannie Clyde on September 1973. This chapel was consequently converted by Schulz into a “combination gym and family room.”
Indeed, a piece of luxury real estate such as this mansion which has a place in popular culture is a worthy investment to make.
